We want all children to feel better about themselves and are on a mission to pass on important skills to help them do just that.
Mindful Sprouts is built on the belief that all children deserve to feel safe, heard, and understood. Our fun and friendly sessions provide a safe space for your child explore their emotions and make sense of big feelings whilst equipping them with the skills they need to thrive.
By following an evidence based approach using techniques from several therapeutic methodologies, our classes are designed to help all children understand how to self-regulate their emotions and provide them with a calm space to unwind.
In each session you can expect:
Fun, interactive mindfulness and meditation activities for preschoolers and young children.
Experiential learning through storytelling, movement, reflection and creativity.
Tangible coping strategies explored through engaging activities.
Designed for parents, schools and caregivers with ideas and guidance for the grown ups to support healthy minds and positive attitudes.
A Silent Crisis in Children's Mental Health
It's not easy being a kid.
Children today are more likely to experience chronic stress and anxiety due to academic pressure, social media, and world events beyond their control (UK Mental Health Foundation) with 1 in 6 children (5-16 years) in the UK experiencing struggles with their mental health, up from 1 in 9 in 2017 (NHS Digital, 2023).
